About the photographer

Hi, my name is Robin. I'm a plus size woman and a portrait photographer. I started this brand out of frustration while trying to get great headshots of myself. Over the years I've hired a few different photographers to take my headshots. Most of the time I was disappointed and surprised how they didn't understand how to photograph curvy women.  Sadly I would be left feeling terrible about myself, especially since I knew that if I could take my own portraits, I could do better. So I'm here to do better for you. Because you deserve to feel amazing at any size.

I currently split my time between sunny San Diego and historic Philadelphia. My husband Dieter and I have two rescue dogs Zola & Dottie who keep me active with daily walks and silly antics. We love Marvel movies, BBQs  and travelling to places with ancient ruins. My SirusXM is most often tuned to Lithium and I sit down to edit with Forensic Files or the Young and the Restless in the background. I'm a Libra, but I don't really know what that means.

Representing a plus size brand can often come with challenges like social media trolls and brand criticism. I will never claim to be an expert on the plus size industry. I might not know all the terminology or the best hashtags or the latest news. I'm a photographer who knows light and posing.
